Before Tan Instructions:

Plan do a thorough exfoliation 1-2 days prior to your tan, using a body scrub and/or scrub glove/washcloth will work great. Follow this exfoliation with a good moisturizer. Also, shave or wax a day or two before your tan, not the day of if it can be avoided. Exfoliating the dead skin is very important, think of it as making a blank canvas. This will ensure that you get the best results from your tan, one that will last the longest with the most natural look and natural fade.  On the day of your tan, shower with water only, your skin must be free of any moisturizer, oils, deodorants, make-up or perfumes before being sprayed.  These items will act as a barrier, which will stop the tan from absorbing correctly on your skin. It is okay if you apply makeup earlier on the day of your tan; just rinse it off prior to your tan. It's best to do this rinse off shower right beforehand.
